A tour around Quindio Department

The tours have three main porpuses.

The first one, it's to familiarize our students with the different tourist sites and to know the diversity of ecologic hikings we can do in our town.

The second one, it's to make students aware of the beauty of our countryside and to appreciate and care for the natural world around us!

And the third one, it's to invite our family, firends, and visitors to come to el Quindio Department

Important: The tours are organized by a gruop of eight students from 11th grade. These students are in charge of planning the schedule, doing the program; of course, under the teachers’ guidance.

Hiking from Armenia to Montenegro
March 2011

This is a beautiful hiking, in the Southwest, in a rural area of Armenia.
We spend about four hours. Of course, we have some stops and we take pictures, we take notes, we talk, and we have a very relaxing morning. Some days after the tour,
the students come up with map or a frizo, and a description of the place.
